Wasn't sure how this race would go - I wasn't too concerned about the distance but the vertical gain (advertised as 6k feet but actually 7k) was considerable. It's a tough, technical 15.5 mile course that you run twice. Probably went a little fast on the first lap (3 hours 10 min) and slowly bled time on the second lap, getting passed fairly regularly. Still, I finished in under 7 hours and I'm very happy with that. Seems like my body is holding together fairly well so I can plan for more adventures ahead!
