My forth backyard ultra, this small race in West Greenwich, RI took place on private property adjacent to Big River. I felt good through the first 10 laps, crappy on 11, good on 12 & 13 and then finally fell apart for good on lap 14. DNFd at 56 miles. I had hopes that I'd be able to outlast everyone but there was a seasoned ultrarunner in attendance named Eric and he proved too strong. Happy with my performance and recovery and hope I can piggyback off it to further success.
